I’VE BEEN EMPLOYED WITH MY COMPANY 5 YEARS NOW,ABOUT 20 MONTHS AGO I WAS PROMOTED TO LEAD DRIVER OF MY CITY.I WAS TOLD I WOULD GET A RAISE FOR MY POSITION,NEW PHONE REQUIRED FOR POSITON,AND OF COURSE A LOT MORE RESPONSIBILITIES.I GOT EVERYTHING BUT THE RAISE.ABOUT 7 MONTHS AGO I GOT HURT ON THE JOB AND ENDED UP HAVING TO HAVE SURGERY ON MY SHOULDER.I STILL CAME TO WORK 3 DAYS AFTER SURGERY BECAUSE I HAD A WAREHOUSE TO RUN,AND I EVEN HAD TRAIN MY NEW MANAGER WHO REPLACED MY OLD ONE.DURING THAT PROCESS I ASKED ABOUT MY RAISE AND I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE HARD FOR ME TO GET A RAISE NOW BECAUSE OF MY INJURY,AND ALSO THE COMPANY DIDN’T KNOW IF I WAS GOING TO STAY OR QUIT BECAUSE MAYBE I NO LONGER COULD PERFORM MY DUTIES DUE TO MY INJURY.I’M BACK TO REGULAR DUTY NOW STILL LEAD DRIVER BUT NO RAISE,TO TOP THAT OFF MY SHOULDER STILL HURTS , MY THREE INDEX FINGERS ARE PARTIALY NUMB ON BOTH HANDS,AND NEW HIRES GET STARTED OUT AT 10$ WICH IS MORE THAN I MAKE.I’M WAITING FOR HR TO GET BACK TO MY MNGR.

I was at fault in a minor accident and got ticket for it. I know the other party who had claimed injury is claiming insurance with my insurance company. I would like to get information and documents related to the other party’s claim (e.g what injury) so as to help my case in court. Is my insurance company allowed to disclose the info to me? I am getting my own lawyer and has nothing to do with my insurance co. Thanks!

I hired an lawyer back for an injury I had. I haven’t had good luck with response back and forth from them and had been looking around for new representation. I get a very unprofessional e-mail saying they were going to submit a demand amount for 300k which is not good enough. They are missing tons of information about my case. I am pregnant and we agreed to wait till I had the baby because of possible complications. There is 5 weeks left till I have the baby and I get a letter saying they already submitted a demand letter without my permission, approval, and missing a bunch of information. I have to have a C-Section because of my injury (which cost more), I have a letter saying I’m 28% permanently disable because of this (they don’t have), my insurance coverage got cut in half and the amount doubled, and I may have more problems when I deliver. What should I do? This is not the amount that anyone else recommended we go for. My bills are over 75k in just medical.

I saw a report where a woman was handcuffed at a police station, and was being arrested for a DUI. The cop turned off the video camera, and when it was turned back on, the lady was laying in a pool of her blood.
She suffered two black eyes, a broken nose, and got a couple teeth knocked out.
The cop swears she fell on her face, and the lawyer says that those injuries are common when people fall on their face.
Do you guys buy this, can you really get that hurt by falling flat on your face?

Is it ok to call your lawyer for update about your case and what direction it is going. At the beginning of may i hired a lawyer to represent me in a case(premise liabilty, Personal Injury). They only called me twice since I hired them and they never let me know what is going on with my case. Is it ok to call my case manager and ask him about the status of my case? Seems like they arent even working on it or something. Anyone have this same problem?
