Has Anyone Every Hired A Lawyer To Get An At Fault Claim Reversed That You Know You’re Guilty Of?

On May 24, 2009 this year I was stopped @ a red arrow going left about a car length away but she thought she was in the wrong lane. So I turned on her blinker, looked behind her and decided to move because there was no traffic insight. It was 4 lanes and she moved from lane to lane but before I could make it to the right curb lane she stopped again and seen a black car. The gentleman was staring at me while he was passing me by and accelerating his speed and when he looked it was cars in front of him that he ended up hitting. One of the driver’s in a white car claims that he seen her cut him off but if he seen everything why didn’t he tell the cops that the gentleman was looking at her as he passed her by and accelerated his speed? Also, the gentleman who crashed and the gentleman in the white car both were talking to each other with hand motions prior to the cops arriving. I was found @ fault for the accident basically because of the gentleman in the white car. My insurance company is paying all 3 of the parties. The gentleman who hit everyone filed a personal injury claim in addition; he was paid $20,000 by my insurance as well. It just bugs me because I know he wasn’t paying attention as he passed me by and that’s the reason why he really crashed. I need to find a lawyer who’d be willing to represent me although my insurance co. thinks it’s a loss cause because of the police report (the female cop never came over to get my side of the story) and because of the gentleman in the white car because they state that he doesn’t have a reason to lie. Also, my children were in the car in they seen him staring at me as well until he passed me by and tried to brake at the last minute. I’m willing to take a polygraph test as well to prove that he was staring at me and accelerated his speed as he passed me by in addition I looked before I moved over and there was no traffic insight. So he had to be going really fast to even catch up to me. My main concern is that he is reaping significant benefits and secondary is my insurance. Anyone have any information that could be valuable? Sometimes I think the whole scenario at the car accident site was a little biased because the gentleman who crashed into everyone is a firefighter.

Hi,
I graduated from law school in 2001 and practiced mainly personal injury law for a while in a small firm, which I never cared for. I was wondering if there were any lawyers out there who practice bankruptcy who could tell me how difficult it would be to have a solo bankruptcy practice and how I might go about doing this. First, is this the kind of think that I could figure out with form books and software or should I work in a firm first? Any good book/material recommmendations would be greatly appreciated. Also, could I mainly do Chapter 7’s or do I really need to do all kinds to stay afloat? Any helpful info by experienced bankruptcy lawyers would be greatly appreciated! I’m licensed in Minnesota, if that helps you in your answer.

Hi i was interested in the mental health bill and am aware of this situation a man of 62 is now sectioned he was aparantly normal beforehand but spent his time living with his mother since age 17 no jokes his mother didnt want him at birth and she now in her early eighties has an active life dancing going to her local consertive club etc but she has to be cared for by him which he has been doing there was a fight of sorts at home he was left with an injury next thing he is in hospital for a mental disorder and only his mother can get him out question can his friend of 30 years step in is there a loop hole i personally think that there are stages he has gone past the 72 hours and now is onto the 28 days after that what then it is only himself and his mother he has no one but his friend who seems to think he is not mental in anyway i know the drs know therir job but again i ask is there a way to get him out without his mothers consent or should his friend wait thanks

I Think My Lawyer Is Trying To Make Me Settle For An Amount I Think Is Too Low, How Do I Know?

I was in a car accident(not my fault). My lawyer received an offer of 25,000 (he takes 10,000). My accident was pretty severe, I lost consciousness, had surgical staples in my skull, hurt my knee, broke my collar bone. I feel this offer is very low. I know people that get 2x or 3x for less serious injuries. My lawyer told me thats it and he would not do anything else with the case. This is the first offer. If I go to another lawyer does my current lawyer take a cut too? Also my insurance company has paid all my medical costs not the person that was at fault.

the principal knew of the severity of the childs injury and yet put the child in danger. would this be a civil lawsuit and who would be sued the district or the principal. the district is investigating but says they could not give specifics of any action taken because of personnel confidentiality. how do you get any satisfaction from that. the principal thought the children might use the crutches as weapons but weren’t and the only one sent to the office was the disabled child not the other child. Is this discrimination?

I hurt my upper back at work falling on the ice while delivering furniture (T-5) (T-4) The Doc said it would never heal correctly. Has anyone hurt their upper back and about what would be the compensation for this.
