Anyone Ever Use The Law Offices Of Saiontz Kirk & Miles For A Personal Injury Case? Were You Satisfied?

I’m not satisfied at all with their customer/client service or lack thereof. The paralegals act is if they could care less about you or your case – not that I was looking for sympathy from them after my accident. I just expected them to be courteous and polite. Since my car accident on 10/5/07 I have spoken to my so called lawyer once. When I call to ask a question he doesn’t return my call. This is my first accident and I’ve never filed a personal injury claim with the aid of an attorney. I do not know what to expect as it pertains to the steps involved in moving forward towards settlement. When I’ve called to ask questions – my lawyers paralegal (who apparantly does all the work while the attorney does nothing but still gets paid) responded to me in a demeaning way, as if I was supposed to know this info. already. She always acts as if she doesn’t have time to speak to me. I can’t be the only one that’s having issues with this law firm. They seem to be everywhere (TV, radio etc.,

Has Anyone Every Hired A Lawyer To Get An At Fault Claim Reversed That You Know You’re Guilty Of?

On May 24, 2009 this year I was stopped @ a red arrow going left about a car length away but she thought she was in the wrong lane. So I turned on her blinker, looked behind her and decided to move because there was no traffic insight. It was 4 lanes and she moved from lane to lane but before I could make it to the right curb lane she stopped again and seen a black car. The gentleman was staring at me while he was passing me by and accelerating his speed and when he looked it was cars in front of him that he ended up hitting. One of the driver’s in a white car claims that he seen her cut him off but if he seen everything why didn’t he tell the cops that the gentleman was looking at her as he passed her by and accelerated his speed? Also, the gentleman who crashed and the gentleman in the white car both were talking to each other with hand motions prior to the cops arriving. I was found @ fault for the accident basically because of the gentleman in the white car. My insurance company is paying all 3 of the parties. The gentleman who hit everyone filed a personal injury claim in addition; he was paid $20,000 by my insurance as well. It just bugs me because I know he wasn’t paying attention as he passed me by and that’s the reason why he really crashed. I need to find a lawyer who’d be willing to represent me although my insurance co. thinks it’s a loss cause because of the police report (the female cop never came over to get my side of the story) and because of the gentleman in the white car because they state that he doesn’t have a reason to lie. Also, my children were in the car in they seen him staring at me as well until he passed me by and tried to brake at the last minute. I’m willing to take a polygraph test as well to prove that he was staring at me and accelerated his speed as he passed me by in addition I looked before I moved over and there was no traffic insight. So he had to be going really fast to even catch up to me. My main concern is that he is reaping significant benefits and secondary is my insurance. Anyone have any information that could be valuable? Sometimes I think the whole scenario at the car accident site was a little biased because the gentleman who crashed into everyone is a firefighter.

Has Anyone Had A Knee Injury At Work?

This November it will be two years since I injured my knee. I was released from the doctor after surgery and a year of physical therapy. The doc. released me with restrictions with no prolonged standing, lifting, standing,squatting,kneeling, and ect…. I’ve been collecting comp(paycheck) which is 80% of my union wage. THe doctor says I’m on borrow time until a knee replacement which Im to young to have done. Right now Im with Vocational Rehibilatation and Michigna Dept. Labor with a case worker. He has been trying to find a job for me that make about the same as my old job. He has already told workers comp that I am and should get schooling. Still havent had any luck with job yet because of my restrictions. The UNION has set me up with a great lawyer. He made an offer less then a year ago of about 200k to workers comp(Accident Fund). Im still collecting a check but HOW LONG WILL THIS GO ON?????? PS. ( This is the husband writting)

Personal Injury Claim – Please, Can Anyone Help Or Advise Me.?

Five years ago, my husband was out in the company vehicle when he was hit from behind by another driver. He suffered a broken back and ended up having his lower spine fused and has been on pain meds ever since. He got compensation in the area of $90k. However, 2 years ago, another driver hit him again from behind, and ever since, my husband has been in agony. His surgeon claims that the second accident, “Might have aggrivated the injury a little”, and the driver’s insurance company have made an offer of just $15k… which drops down to $4k after lawyer fees, etc.
We just feel as though we’ve been kicked in the teeth.. the second accident caused my husband to start having erectile dysfunction problems (he had no problems prior to the second accident) and our lawyer has suggested we take the claim to trial.
What I want to know is… what are our chances of getting a significantly larger offer than $15k, and would my testimony about the sexual dysfunction make any difference?
What if we lose at trial… would we still get the $15k regardless?
How can my husband prove that the problems started BECAUSE of the second accident… and how can the courts prove differently?
Please, only serious answers guys, as this is a really sensitive issue right now.

I have went to trial twice since this accident happened. I have a court order stating that the insurance co. has 20 days to pay. They have been given this option twice also. My attorney says they can pay or appeal. I was wondering if anyone has had any similar type of case, and what the outcome may be. I am without work because of this and barely making it. I want to settle my case and have informed my lawyer, but it seems that he is making all the decissions and I don’t matter. ANY ADVICE, would be appreciated.
